Its Battle of the Bridge – mini style!

2 weeks ago the Seniors took away their second win of the season in the corresponding match between our clubs, hopefully that’s a good omen against a club that normally fields some strong junior teams.

And, our newest recruit, Rose Elmore, plays her first game. For someone who pretty much lives at the Club, its great to have her as a new addition.

Tommy Franjic, I’ve got you down as on the umpire roster this week. Megan Serong will need to lift her game and provide the oranges and be the umpire escort.

And can I have a couple of people to help pick up the cones and pull up the goal posts after the game – its becomes a bit of a rush to get out of the way of the Under 12s in time.

I hear the kids played really well against West Footscray! Perhaps I’m a negative influence on the performance of the team….

And a heads up/reminder that we have our pie night after training this coming Wednesday. Feed the kids and I’ll figure out something to entertain them (unless anyone has some suggestions on how to keep a bunch of Under 9s from tearing the joint apart).
